Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • Development & Installation - Onsite installation of the existing magnetic inspection system. The elevator magnetization device and the inspection device are installed. All ropes are tested simultaneously. System output is connected to the web portal system and a real-time alert message system is developed.
  • Data visualisation and reporting - All recorded data is visualized on the cloud-based platform and downloaded in PDF catalogued reference documents. Reports can be auto generated on the cloud platform, summarising inspection findings and performing predictive analysis.
  • Real time elevator monitoring - Enhanced with AI-analytics and deep learning, allowing the system to rapidly detect abnormalities and continuously improve itself as it gathers more data. Detection of significant abnormalities prompts an alert, allowing for a quick and remote response. This function will prevent damage or catastrophic accidents.
  • Continuous assessment - To test the lift monitoring system for 12-month project period. Any technical issues will be resolved by modifying and improving the system accordingly. In addition to resolving technical issues the system will be continuously reviewed and any potential for optimisation will be implemented.
  • Acceptance test - An on-site assessment test shall be carried out. The acceptance criteria would be proposed 1 week in advance for approval and will align with the expected outcome of the Elevator Suspension Rope Inspection Device Using Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) Technology.
