  • Using Fiber Bragg Grating Sensor to collect the vibration data of hauling rope / rollers
  • Using Integrated Modular Functions with Artificial Intelligence to detect any abnormality of hauling rope/rollers
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • Before conducting the trial, the site survey shall be carried out to find the best location to fix the sensors.
  • Preliminary data collection and checking of vibration level of rollers and hauling rope support bracket during the service operation of peak tram system is required to enhance the realization of R&D result.
  • Using abnormal or defective rollers/hauling rope to validate the condition monitoring system by using a simulation model (Small scale) in the laboratory in case it cannot be collected from the peak tram system.
