  • Referring to the IT Wishlist Project (REF: W-0158), firmware development includes current transformers to collect real-time current of Motor, Brake and Safety-link of the lift.
  • The Microcontroller Unit (MCU) and software development to access the firmware in order to collect and process data.
  • The development of the wireless (3G/4G) Data Transmission Module (DTM) to transfer the collected data from IoT terminal to upper host, store the data into files and display the data.
  • Software and hardware system integration of the sensor module, MCU module and DTM module to store data.
  • On-site installation & calibration so as to ensure the effectiveness of data collection for the Non-Intrusive Data Acquisition Lift Monitoring Prototype.
Matched Trial Project
  • Adoption of non-intrusive clamp type current sensors to guarantee the normal operation of the lift will not be affected.
  • Using current sensors with high sampling frequency (latency >= 100ms) to make sure the data be collected in real-time.
  • Adoption of 3G/4G wireless communication protocol so that the monitoring system can be installed under lift application scenarios, and easy to be widespread applied.
  • Provide a foundation to support temporal data management and the further development of a large scale time series database.
