Solution Feature
  • The Video Analytic system will apply the latest AI/computer vision and deep learning techniques to perform the required detections.
  • For privacy protection, the system will use artificial intelligence to find all faces on screen and apply masks to redact their faces.
  • The detection should fully consider all scenarios of various life-guard uniform or appearance (e.g. summer, autumn) and under various lighting conditions (e.g. daytime, night-time).
  • To prevent double counting of life guards, the region of interest will be carefully calibrated and the actual coordinate of the life guards will be estimated by transformation and calibration.
  • The system will provide a simple and user friendly interface to schedule the detection ON/OFF and to provide signal to the supervisor when needed.
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • One set of customized AI computer will be install on site to perform the required video analytics, such as face masking, object detection etc.
  • The system will include the require video capture devices to convert the 1080p video into digital format for computer to process.
  • To minimize any network security risk , the system has it standalone network and will not interact with the internal network of the swimming pool office.
  • The system has its own un-interruptible power supply (UPS) and rack to operate independently.
  • The notification system (notification software and portable devices) is also included in the solution.
