Solution Feature
  • Apply the trained LiDAR object detection model for people and vehicle detection
  • The trained model will be further developed for people counting, parking space and facilities usage determination
  • LiDAR will be setup in the car park areas to determine the car park occupancy status.
  • One or more LiDARs will be setup in the indoor area to cover the entrance and exit area for people counting and facilities usage status detection.
  • All data are to be stored in the database and it allows 3rd party platform/systems for data sharing.
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • The trial application can take place in the indoor area and carpark area with Internet connection.
  • Unless there is other request, the server and database are to be set up in the cloud.
  • The web user interface displays the information of the number of people in the particular area and the floor plan of the carpark with the occupancy status in the real time.
  • The data will be stored in the database for the time-series chart generation.
