Regenerative Media Filter for Filtration Plant of Public Swimming Pool

I&T Wish Regenerative Media Filter for Filtration Plant of Public Swimming Pool
(REF : W-0116)
Matched I&T Solution
Trial Project
Summary and Challenges

Nearly all the filtration plants in Hong Kong's public swimming pools adopt sand tanks and carbon tanks as filter media. They work well generally. However, these installations occupy plenty of space and use a lot of water for backwashing.

This project calls for a study to investigate the feasibility of adopting the new nano-based regenerative media filter in our public swimming pools. The new filter should take up less space and consume less water and energy as compared to the present filtration system.

Expected Outcome To evaluate the technical feasibility and maintainability of regenerative media filter for filtration plant of public swimming pool.
Expected Trial Duration 8 months
