Summary and Challenges

The objective of the project is to provide a robot for

  1. Inspecting the fire damper located where safe access to these fire dampers was not available and the use of mobile access platform was not feasible
  2. Photo recording the status of the fire damper
Expected Outcome A robot carries out inspection in air duct and testing of fire damper.  The purpose is to apply more advance technology for location with difficult access.
Expected Trial Duration 18 months (Including 12-month sample/prototype production, 3-months trial and 3-month evaluation and adjustments)
