Summary and Challenges
  1. Adoption of the fluid cooled heatsink LED lighting technology with a view to saving energy and reducing operating and maintenance costs.
  2. The fluid cooled heatsink LED lighting will be evaluated in the trial at EMSD Headquarters and further determine whether the technology is applicable in Hong Kong.
  3. The trial shall include all associated construction works from this trail and include an assessment to compare existing lighting, common commercial LED high bay lighting, and the fluid cooled heatsink LED lighting.
  4. The trial shall include a laboratory test by an accredited laboratory in Hong Kong on the fluid cooled heatsink LED lighting, common commercial LED high bay lighting and traditional high bay lighting.
