|Summary and Challenges||
This project aims to develop a robot for delivering objects such as meals, medications and documents to patient or people who are quarantined to minimize close person to person contact, and hence the risk of infection.
The robot shall be able to deliver objects to a designated area by a pre-set path in different environments and terrains such as in community, office environment and quarantine area. During the delivery, it shall be able to detour obstacles, prevent any collision and keep the payload in a good condition.
It shall be equipped with location tracking and status reporting functionalities. Besides, the robot shall be equipped with camera and speaker for communication between users and the operator.
