Summary and Challenges People/Traffic flow is a useful data for smart building management. It helps facility managers for facilities usage enhancement, crowd control during events/exhibitions and enabling smart office in buildings. This project aims to seek for non-video analytic technologies (e.g. Radar, Lidar or etc.) for people counting, object identification, parking space occupancy detection, facilities usage status detection and etc.
Expected Outcome This project aims to deploy people/traffic counting system with the following functions,
  1. People and traffic counting
  2. Object identification
  3. Data Visualization
  4. Interface with 3rd party platforms/systems for data sharing
  5. Facilities usage status checking
Expected Trial Duration 6 months
