The project aims to apply video analytics technology to collect the real-time, hourly and daily number of patrons and the usage rate of ancillary facilities such as joss paper burners and toilet facilities in selected Public Columbaria, Garden of Remembrance (GoR) and Public Markets
2. The video analytics technology shall provide analysis of
  • the grave sweepers’ flow pattern and head count in Public Columbaria including the period at Ching Ming Festival and/or Chung Yeung Festival; and
  • the market patrons profiling (e.g. age / gender distribution), flow pattern (hot zone/ cold zone), head count in Public Market, including the period at Winter Solstice and Chinese year-end/New Year Festival.

  2. Analysis of data about visitors' pay tribute activities for the planning of facilities, niches and services in Public Columbaria and GoR in future refurbishment or new development. Analysis of data about market patrons profiles, flow pattern and head count for the planning of stalls and passages in Public Markets in future renovation or new development.
