Summary and Challenges
  • Provide automated identity verification by utilizing facial recognition technology.
  • When a live face is presented, the system shall verify the identity locally without any internet connection to ensure maximum security. For users registered with facial recognition, the system shall only record the identification without any photo.
  • For users not registered with facial recognition, the system shall verify the identity user using RFID card or QR code and take a photo for record.
  • Workstation terminals for end-users and central server for consolidation and backup of records shall be provided and shall be connected by internal network.
  • A mobile app for both Android and iOS platforms shall be provided for users to take photo, record timestamp and GPS location.
  • Users can enroll and manage staff records with a user-friendly interface while venue supervisors can preset shift rosters, input remarks and generate reports through administrative portal.
Expected Outcome Facial recognition system with high accuracy, detection speed and user-friendly graphical user interface.
