Summary and Challenges
  • Quadruped robots equipped four legs with mechanical ability to walk on various terrain environments such as gravel roads, sand, slope and stair / steps, but they do not have self exploring autonomous function and automatically change gait ability to adapt the walkway.
Expected Outcome
  1. Enhance the gait control ability of existing quadruped robot.
  2. Add on terrain sensing and adaptive control enables the quadruped robot feedback in real time, in order to maintain stability in unknown terrain, and adjust its posture in response to changes in the terrain.
  3. Add a mechanical arm to the quadruped robot, with good balance and walking ability to complete tasks .
