Smart Warehouse Management System for handling goods on the pallets

I&T Wish Smart Warehouse Management System for handling goods on the pallets
(REF : W-0449)
Matched I&T Solution
Trial Project
Summary and Challenges The warehouse is currently storing and supplying goods on the pallets. In daily operations, the staff need to manually load, unload trucks; transfer the goods onto pallets for storage and retrieval operations; to determine the storage location of the pallets after receiving goods.

Challenges:
The work processes are injury-prone, physically demanding and time-consuming, especially when the goods can weigh as much as 700 kg. Since all processes are manually operated, errors are prone to occur.
Expected Outcome This project aims to develop a warehouse automation and management solution through the application of
artificial intelligence and robotics technologies to achieve the following objectives:

- Minimize the manual operations and making the zone of warehouse unmanned / self-operating;
- Utilize RFID to improve inventory efficiency and accuracy;
- Maximize the storage capacity of the warehouse;
- Enhance warehouse safety by using robots to extract inventory and handle goods
- Integrate with edge devices, such as intelligent door locks, smart video surveillance and multi-environmental sensors
to enable remote monitoring and control of warehouse facilities from a centralized platform.

Remarks: The proposer of the solution should submit an I&T solution proposal to EMSD on or before the closing date. It should include a preliminary design concept with block diagrams, system architecture, specifications and budgetary ballpark cost estimate. EMSD may invite the proposer to conduct a presentation on their proposal.
Expected Trial Duration 12-month
