Overview

Toilet hygiene is an important issue worldwide, especially amid the pandemic, as it is crucial to strengthen toilet cleanliness to avoid the spread of viruses and bacteria in toilets. In response to the above, the "IoT-enabled Smart Toilet Bowl Cleaning System" makes use of easily manipulated robotic tools to assist in toilet bowl cleaning in enclosed spaces, helping to reduce the health risks of toilet cleaners and improve the overall hygiene and cleanliness of toilets.

Problem Addressed

By automating the most time-consuming and unpleasant task of toilet bowl cleaning, the system aims at alleviating the heavy workload of toilet cleaners. It provides a fully automated cleaning solution for more efficient toilet cleaning. The system obtains the usage and odor levels of each toilet cubicle from real-time IoT data and instructs toilet robots to perform cleaning tasks according to scheduled plans or on an on-demand basis.

The Toilet Bowl Cleaning System comprises a toilet bowl cleaning robot, an automated guided vehicle and an IoT sanitation monitoring platform. The robot can autonomously navigate to specific toilet cubicles to perform bowl cleaning task. It offers an easy, automated and hassle-free solution to enhancing toilet cleanliness.
