Solution Feature
  • Temperature of Photovoltaic (PV) cell affects its performance, efficiency and lifetime. Fluid-cooling is an uncomplicated, low cost but effective choice.
  • Flexible PV panels mount on concrete blocks is expensive to fabricate, delivery for installation. “Fluid Cooling System” uses circulating fluid to cool PV.
  • It saves the costs of concrete blocks delivery cost to site and avoid unsafe work process. It is a simple connect the pipework of the circulation system in situ.
  • Parts and pump circulate fluid for removing heat generated from PV panels which can be shut down if the ambient temperature is cool.
  • Other advantages of the system are:- a) Good flexibility and adaptability; and b)The system can be reused.
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • Mock-up will be built workshop and then installed on site. Testing to fine-tune cooling system for PV .
  • The water circulation pump, pipework with temperature control device to turn off the water pump.
  • The WT can be tested under R&D to identify the optimal size fits flexible PV cells available in the market which then mass-production.
  • Our company is registering the patent of the “Self-contained water cooling system for PV System” mentioned above.
