Indoor Air Quality Improvement and Energy Savings of Fresh Air Supply by a Regenerative gas-phase air filtering unit

I&T Solution Indoor Air Quality Improvement and Energy Savings of Fresh Air Supply by a Regenerative gas-phase air filtering unit
(REF: S-0847)
Matched I&T Wish
Trial Project
Solution Feature
  • To provide a gas phase regenerative air filtering unit to improve indoor air quality, remove indoor CO, CO2, VOCs and formaldehyde in conditioned space.
  • To achieve energy saving by reducing the amount of fresh are intake but maintaining/ improving the indoor air quality.
  • The air filtering unit has the capability to be automatically regenerated. The Air cleaning solution and mechanism is fully compliant with ASHRAE Standard for the Gas Phase Filtration: ASHRAE Standard 145.2-2011
  • To monitor and manage air quality in the building actively by IoT. (i.e LoRaWAN).
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • To deploy a regenerative gas-phase air filtering unit.
  • By reducing cooling demand for treating fresh air, to study the potential energy savings for fresh air supply reduction.
  • To provide modification work for existing AHU or PAU system to achieve the outcome.
