Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • A tailer-made Far UVC lamp will be installed in the lift that will irradiated on the lift button and hand-rail to kill attached microorganisms;
  • The disinfection system will not affect the lift users;
  • Effectiveness of the irradiation will be proved by sampling of bacteria on the surface of the lift button and in air inside the lift;
  • Laboratory test will be conducted to indicate the effectiveness of Far-UVC on common pathogens ;
  • The R&D test result can indicate the effectiveness of the Far UVC technology for surface and air disinfection.
