| Solution Feature |
- Object Recognition technology will be used to extract the features and generate a unique baggage ID for each baggage.
- Facial Recognition technology will be used to extract the facial features and generate a unique face ID for each passenger.
- Multiple cameras and depth sensors with controlled light will be installed at check-in counter to extract features from baggage and passenger.
- A Cloud database will be used to store the profile of each passenger with their face ID and baggage ID of their registered baggage.
- IoT will be used to match the recognized baggage ID and face ID from cameras with database record and provide real time notification for mistaken pickup.

| Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- Build and maintain a database of passenger ID and baggage ID.
- Identity the baggage and passenger from cameras and match them with owner record in database.
- Detect and alert if baggage is being mistakenly picked up.
- Notify Airport staff for the location of mistaken baggage and the profile of the carrier and passenger.
- Develop a set of hardware to extract, record and detect passenger ID and baggage ID in the airport.
