Solution Feature
  • Proposed LiDAR-based solution was tested to work in daytime, nighttime, bad weather and staff alert messaging system at sub-second delay
  • LiDAR and camera fusion solution yields mm-level 3D coordinate measurement accuracy, providing highly accurate shape analysis and information for AI algorithm to classify and track every person, their precise path, behaviors (too slow / drunk) and paraphernelia (details of the baggage in length, width, height and color)
  • Entirely compatible with the anomaly detection of pedestrian behavior currently implemented in W-0238. One system fulfils two functions
  • Completely stand-alone system in one integrated unit with edge computing that can be flexibly installed anywhere
  • Precise output of crowd count (with or without baggage), density, all the paths, multi-directional counting, speed, with user-definable virtual zones and playback-enabled traced track
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • No camera distortion and obstruction problem, even in area with dense crowd, by using LiDAR-based 3D measurement and fusion with camera output with AI profiling which yields accurate people counting and path tracking
  • Stand-alone solution with always-on full privacy protection features and true 3D displacement, speed and acceleration measurements from a full 50m to 200m radius coverage
  • On-site support for full stack AI hardware, software, and system fine-tuning to meet the performance and accuracy requirements
  • Operation-based real-time anomaly alert system development that integrates with Operations Control Centre with a web-based dashboard for sensor data, health and virtual zone management
  • Fully compatible with RFID technology with programmable API for integration with the system
