  • Deploy an innovative AI model to monitor multiple parameters such as vibration, temperature and distance from the sensors installed at lift system
  • Collect the real-time operation data from the optical and electronic sensors of the critical lift components including traction motor, brake arms, steel ropes and lift doors
  • Recognize lift operation patterns and correlation with lift conditions
  • Analyse the data and perform predictive maintenance using artificial intelligence technologies
  • The analytic report in a dashboard format shall be displayed on an existing EMSD cloud of each critical lift component, s.a. detected faults from the historical data, potential performance degradation and estimated EOL of the component
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • Devise a lifespan AI prediction model to analyse the lift component performance. The components include but not limited to motor, ropes, lift door, lift car, brake and levelling
  • The system will assist the technicians/engineers to make use of the data collected to deduce the correlation across components and other potential impact factors
  • Develop a dashboard on EMSD existing cloud showing the performance of each critical component and the trend analysis of the components and prompting alerts when abnormalities are detected
  • Provide operation and maintenance manual for the AI models
  • Provide recommendations on implementing predictive maintenance system including but not limited to the required data quality, choice of machine learning algorithms and conclude the project with a suggestion report.
