Solution Feature |
- To change “existing filter” to “SINGLE-STAGE MERV-12 or higher antimicrobial / antiviral nanofiber-based filter” without any modification to the AHU system
- According to the Guidelines of IAQ in Hong Kong, compare counts on PM10, PM2.5 dusts particle
- To compare filter dust holding capacity as an evaluation on filter’s lifespan before / after the change of filter by live-test (i.e. on-site trial) as well as the filter test method EN ISO16890:2016 or equivalent
- To compare energy consumption before / after the change of filters according to the filter test method EN ISO16890:2016 or equivalent.
- Compare time and labour for filter maintenance, filter waste before / after the change of filters

Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- Despite no modification to the current AHU system, the change of filters will not cause any negative impacts on the filter’s rack, airflow supply and noise
- Will reduce 50 – 80% numbers of PM10, PM2.5 dust particle
- Energy consumption will be no big difference after the change of filters
- At least 50% cut on time and labour required on filter maintenance
- Will reduce 30 – 50% filter waste and carbon emission after the change of filters
