Torsional Ultrasonic Inspection for Lamp Posts
(REF: S-1271) |
Trial Project |
|
Solution Feature |
- Non-destructive investigation
- Early warning provision
- Faster & Easier inspection deployment
- High sensitivity to defects
- Localized defect and general corrosion identification (in clock-position)
|
Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- Firstly, a baseline assessment will be conducted. Baseline data and various defects (man-made or natural/real) references will be collected in a controlled environment (defective lamp post yard or lab) by torsional Ultrasonic inspection technique by our qualified and competent inspector.
- After the baseline assessment, data collection or inspection can be made on site.
- The collected data will be processed and analyzed by our engineer.
- Torsional Ultrasonic inspection is used in rapid testing or screening tools to detect, locate and classify corrosion defects. Large sections of piping can be quickly screened with 100 percent volumetric coverage to determine precise locations of corrosion damage.
