Solution Feature
  • SCM is a contactless technology for monitoring the status of rails and wheels. It enables condition-based maintenance and replaces the less accurate time and mileage-based calculations
  • SCM offers significant advantages over edd7-current measurement. Hence no assumptiosn about crack angles are required
  • SCM comes with vehicle mounted system up to 40km/h, , tests are underway for SCM to be verified at 60km/h. It also comes with Operator Propelled Unit as well as Handheld Unit
  • BRD has the ability to detect broken or badly cracked rail from revenue trains in near real time transforms the way that the rail is monitored for major rail defects.
  • BRD continuously scans the rail to detect discontinuities or missing sections, rail ends, insulated joints and detects including those shown below. It has very low false detections per trip. 1 false +ve detection may be reported per 200,000 km. BRD location accuracy is dependent on GPS used and axle tacho
