- Smart system that can interpret elderly movement quality using smart sensors that are capable of measuring limb/joint movement and corresponding muscle condition.
- The sensor constitutes an IMU sensor to measure angular and acceleration motion, as well as an Electromyography sensor to measure muscle activity.
- Multi-stream of data will be fed into the AI training modules to interpret the training quality and result.
- Based on the past training historical data and inputs from therapists, a modified training requirement will be proposed by the AI based cloud service to improve the next training results.
- The mobile app will display a reference action for the elderly to follow and real time feedback of the upper limb performance would be displayed at the same time.

Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- A demo app will be developed to demonstrate the ability of real-time data monitoring as well as AI analysis. Limb functional scores will be generated automatically and to be verified by therapists on site.
- Suggestion of next training parameters based on the training result would be generated.
- A website interface would be provided for therapists to review the training results remotely.
