| Solution Feature |
- Our proposed “Overturn Monitoring Device (OMD)” can fully operate simply by plugging the connector into the “Cigarette lighter socket” of a dump truck; therefore, we are a plug-and-play system.
- Our “OMD” device uses tilt angle sensor to detect tilt angle. Immediate audio-visual “Overturn Alert” will be activated to alert the driver if tilt angle is higher than threshold level.
- Alert details such as Vehicle number,alert event time, location will be reported by the OMD to the cloud-based Vehicle Tracking Server via 4G mobile etwork.
- Server can inform offsite persons through email, SMS or mobile app for the “Overturn Alert Event” with details like Vehicle number and the alert event time, location.

| Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- The system is readily available; an onsite field test will be needed to test whether the sensitivity & response time of the tilt sensor meet the project objectives.
