- Using 4 movable wheels, it is flexible, fast and energy-saving.
- Because there is a chance that it needs to work in the rain, the system will be equipped with a GPS positioning system to prevent the infrared transceiver from being affected by rain.

| Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- The smart patrol & meter-reading robot shall be weather-proof design and able to stop or avoid when encounters obstacles.
- The robot will be deployed in night time patrol, it shall be able to travel the route automatically and transmit the real time image clearly even under dark environment.
