Solution Feature |
- The solution uses a robust patrol robot designed for outdoor use and equipped with Lidar and camera.
- The robot can be operated for 8 hours. It can be mapped to a specific route and remotely controlled and provide live camera feed.
- The is able to detect faces via facial recognition and also alert any violation in site rules such as smoking or violated parking
- Aside from Robot, smart meter caps are used to take meter readings which can be more accurate than robot taking images especially if some meters are hard to reach
- A central management platform allows users to configure, monitor and access all the necessary information of the system.

Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- The Robot and Smart Meter is going to be tested in Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works. The robot is expected to patrol a 1.5km long patrol route.
- The images of meters taken and video footage will be sent to a central management platform which can be viewed by operators on their workstation / mobile app
- The platform consist of AI module which convert meter reading images to digital values and automatically record in Excel file.
- Web dashboards enable monitoring, visualization, and alerts via threshold and logic checks.
- Security patrol to identify any suspicious people (using facial recognition) or violation of site regulations e.g. smoking, violated parking and etc..
