(REF: S-1619) |
| Trial Project |
|
| Solution Feature |
- The smart patrol & meter-reading robot is able to operate autonomously in outdoor condition pavement roads and following a fixed route for both day-time and nighttime patrol with a speed of greater than 1 m/s.
- The smart patrol & meter-reading robot is able to stop or avoid when encounters obstacles.
- The smart patrol & meter-reading robot is able to transmit the real time image to the control center for personal reading.
|
| Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- Test the robot’s mobility in the actual environment, and ensure that it can reach every inspection location.
- In the actual environment, test the ability to capture images of the instruments, and ensure that every instrument can be detected by the camera on the robot.
- In the actual environment, test the possible obstacle scenarios, and ensure that the robot can prepare to detect and stop and bypass when encountering obstacles.
- In the actual environment, test the network coverage, and ensure that the images can be returned to the control centre.
- Conduct night environment testing and ensure the detection ability under low-light conditions.
