A system of bionic robots that act like natural enemies for intelligent wild bird dispersal

I&T Solution A system of bionic robots that act like natural enemies for intelligent wild bird dispersal
(REF: S-1656)
Trial Project
Solution Feature
  • A global first-of-its-kind innovation. Utilizing the birds' inherent fear of natural predators, we have developed bionic robots resembling owls or eagles. These robots employ auditory and visual capabilities to achieve an effective bird repelling effect.
  • Intelligent and agile. The biomimetic robots are equipped with cameras, edge processors, speakers, distance sensors, and wings capable of articulation. They offer real-time analysis and immediate dispersal capabilities.
  • Easy to deploy and maintain. Whether in horizontal or vertical areas, the system can be rapidly deployed. It allows for flexible allocation of robots and the capability to expand the birds or pigeons repelling area at any time.
  • Highly sustainable. The robots are capable of upgrading their bird repelling AI models, and can be paired with various sounds, movements, and exteriors to effectively prevent wild pigeons from adapting, ensuring long-term efficacy in bird deterrence.
  • Highly scalable. As a world-first in intelligent bird deterrence solutions, it significantly protects birds, citizens, and the urban landscape. This approach can be effectively expanded to other regions and fields.
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • Pilot Area Deployment: Initiate the preliminary deployment of robots at strategic locations such as the top of the footbridge in Central to achieve effective bird deterrence.
  • Activation of the AI Bird Deterrence System: Upon detecting wild birds, the system will automatically activate the robots to emit predator-like movements and sounds, ensuring an efficiency rate of over 80% in dispersing birds.
  • Real-Time Monitoring and Data Collection: Continuously monitor and gather data to analyze patterns of wild birds, including their habits, population numbers, as well as the interaction between robot performance and environmental factors.
  • Low Maintenance Costs: The robots are designed to transmit their status in real-time, allowing for maintenance only when necessary, thereby reducing upkeep expenses.
  • Sustainability for Bird Deterrence: Utilizing natural principles to keep wild birds away from densely populated areas, avoiding harsh expulsion or harm. This approach not only protects human life and property but also conserves the natural environment, thus maintaining harmony between humans and nature.
