Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- Preparation: Measure and record the differential pressure, power, and flow of the AHU.
- Dilution: Dilute the cleaner depending on the level of dirt and debris exist on the coils.
- Application: Apply the diluted cleaner using a sprayer, starting from the top of the coil, as this will run down through the fins, maximizing coverage and deep penetration.
- Rinsing: Thoroughly rinse the system with clean water to remove the cleaning solution and dislodged contaminants.
- Inspection and Reconnection: Inspect the cleaned system for any remaining contaminants or signs of microbial growth, then reconnect power to the system and ensure it is functioning properly.
