I&T Solution |
Identifying the Risk of Fixed Elevated Objects Falling by Laser Distance Sensing
(REF: S-1721) |
Trial Project |
|
Solution Feature |
- To real-time monitor the position deviation of the fixed elevated objects
- To real-time identify the potential risk of the fixed elevated objects from falling with different risk levels
- To provide a clear dashboard showing the risk level of falling for each targeted object
- To provide an accurate alert if the risk level of falling is high
|
Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- Install the laser distance sensors with different heights to monitor the position deviation of the fixed elevated objects with the same row. An indicator is installed on each targeted object to calibrate the initial height.
- Analyze the measured distance from all sensors. If in a risky condition, the time of flight (ToF) will be shorter than the normal value, due to the blockage of the shifted indicator.
- All the measured results are uploaded to a cloud server for analysis.
- Identify the risk level of falling by analyzing the blockage of sensors at different heights since sensors at lower positions can detect a more serious drop.
- Expected outcomes are the dashboard showing each target object's risk level of falling and the alert system in the high-risk level.
