Autonomous Filter Cleaning Robot in Government Tunnels with BIM-based Simulation

I&T Solution Autonomous Filter Cleaning Robot in Government Tunnels with BIM-based Simulation
(REF: S-1714)
Trial Project
Solution Feature
  • An autonomous robot equipped with the necessary equipment to navigate automatically with collision avoidance capabilities, to reach heights of up to 6 meters above the ground in a designated government tunnel
  • A computer-based BIM simulation platform as a virtual environment for cleaning and inspection routing, to optimise the robot's movements
  • A filter Cleaning Mechanism of a robotic arm (or similar device) to autonomously clean the filter surface within a pre-set area
  • A video analytics (or image recognition) by a camera to visually examine the filter conditions
  • A user-interface to control, monitor the progress, and receive alerts when necessary
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • Conduct a proof-of-concept trial in a government tunnel with the developed robot - expected to demonstrate and validate the robot's ability to clean the filter surface
  • Conduct a proof-of-concept trial in a government tunnel with the developed robot - expected to have fewer workers working at height
  • Simulate cleaning and inspection routes using BIM models in a virtual environment in computer - expected to optimise the design and efficiency
