Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • Phase 1: Concept Design (Months 0–3). Complete the design of robot systems, including climbing and flying platforms, mechanical components, and control systems. Deliverable: Detailed design documents and prototype components.
  • Phase 2: Prototype Assembly (Months 4–6). Assemble robot prototypes and conduct tests on climbing, flying, load capacity, and stability. Deliverable: Functional prototypes capable of basic operations.
  • Phase 3: Tool Integration (Months 7–9). Design and integrate robotic arms, laser tools, and paint systems. Test defect detection, rust removal, and painting functions. Deliverable: Fully equipped and operational robot prototypes.
  • Phase 4: System Optimization (Months 10–11). Optimize robot performance based on test results, including control algorithms, mechanical components, and operation tools. Deliverable: Finalized robots ready for field trials.
  • Phase 5: Field Deployment (Month 12). Conduct field trials on actual masts and towers. Evaluate performance under real-world conditions and deliver final robots for deployment. Deliverable: Fully functional, field-tested robots.
