Bladeless Wind Turbine Development

I&T Solution Bladeless Wind Turbine Development
(REF: S-1891)
Trial Project
Solution Feature
  • Functional scaled prototype of a bladeless wind turbine with modular construction for parameter optimization.
  • Data acquisition system for wind speed, power output, and vibration measurements.
  • Comprehensive experimental data across a wide operating range for verification and optimization.
  • Mathematical framework for extrapolating wind-tunnel test results to full scale.
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • Phase 1 (Months 1-4) will focus on design and fabrication, including detailed calculations, CAD modeling, and prototype construction.
  • Phase 2 (Months 4-6) will involve wind tunnel setup and calibration, including test section modification and comprehensive instrumentation calibration.
  • Phase 3 (Months 6-10) will cover the main testing program, with systematic wind speed variation tests and detailed performance measurements.
  • Phase 4 (Months 10-12) will be dedicated to analysis and reporting, including data interpretation and development of recommendations for full-scale deployment.
