| Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- An online platform and mobile application (iOS) that can accurately identify the vehicle parts using image recognition technology to perform searching and instantly return the parts information
- Provide a workstation with multi-angle camera(s) to capture standardized photos of vehicle parts, in term of size and angle, for creating a high-quality image library for AI model training and validation
- Automatically recognize the part’s features, barcodes and characters marked on the parts to populate the system database
- Automatically generate email and SMS templates with part numbers, specifications and required quantities to potential contractors, while supporting users to revise the content for the template
- Design APIs to retrieve data from multiple databases, including internal systems (such as procurement, maintenance and asset management) and external systems to obtain part’s information, such as manufacturer codes, EAN/IAN codes, universal codes, models, part numbers, etc.
