Solution Feature
  • All-in-one tree tilt angle sensors and soil sensors for real-time monitoring of tree tilt angles and soil nutrient ions.
  • Depth camera, installed on building exterior walls/roofs, provides 360-degree monitoring of plant images and extracts plant height information, which is then transmitted to the database.
  • Computer vision models identify and locate trees in images, comparing continuous images over time to track growth patterns, leaf density, seasonal changes, etc. Tilt angle data is combined with soil condition data to uncover the root causes of tree tilt.
  • The system retrieves tree locations from GIS/public APIs, displays real-time sensor data and AI model predictions, and issues warnings for high-risk trees and overgrown vegetations.
  • Patented electrocatalytic wastewater treatment & upcycling system for optimized nutrient-composition irrigation based on real-time AI-detected nutrient deficiency, effectively extending plant lifetime. (Depending on situation, not necessary to be used for this project)
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • Validate Multi-Modal Data Integration: Deploy sensors and cameras in the pilot zone, test the fusion of real-time tilt/soil data with processed image embeddings, ensuring the model's spatial and numeric features work cohesively in a live environment.
  • Calibrate the Model with Ground Truth: Compare AI risk predictions (from the ResNet/GBDT model) with our arborist’s assessments, which provides precise labels to recalibrate the model, improving PR-AUC by refining the classifier's decision boundaries for imbalanced data.
  • Test the Feedback Loop for Continuous Learning: Record all interventions on high-risk trees, the confirmed outcomes become new labeled data, retraining the model with GroupKFold to enhance future prediction accuracy.
  • Stress-Test the End-to-End System: Generate and issue real alerts to municipal stakeholders, which validates the entire pipeline—from data preprocessing and PCA-optimized embeddings to the final risk visualization on a GIS map—proving operational readiness.
