Solution Feature
  • An ISO-based building lifecycle information management platform, which provides a single source of truth for project, programme and asset level information. It consists of various BIM-based user-friendly features/modules, including the online digital asset viewer (2D/3D), clash detection, VR, GIS, IoT, process management and tender management modules.
  • It is the cloud-based platform that provides a Common Data Environment (CDE)+ that facilitates and streamlines the processes of data input, verification and compliance check against ISO 19650 compliant information management among multiple project parties.
  • It is a CDE platform without the need for desktop software, programme and project control module driving information deliverable compliance developed with reference to the department's existing BIM-AM tool, project control, finance and health and safety systems for enhancing data input and verification efficiency.
  • It is a BIM-based online information management platform and supports the self-developed BIM automatic modelling tool for rapid modelling of CAD drawings (AutoBIM) at the same time.
  • AutoBIM is an enhanced automatic modelling tool for rapid modelling of CAD drawings. 
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • To develop a CDE platform designed to fully aligns with the ISO BIM Annex in Hong Kong and other standards required by project organizations.
  • To develop a CDE platform that supports the BIM model automatically modeling technology based on 2D CAD drawings.
  • To further develop the product of AutoBIM as an automatic modelling tool for rapid modelling based on CAD drawings with full disciplines in the AECO industry.
  • To develop a new generation cloud-based CDE platform that helps streamline and enhance data input, verification and compliance check against ISO 19650 and other required standards.
