| Solution Feature |
- Design and develop the user interface of search portal to allow users to input parameter requirements of E&D appliances with a search result page in a one-stop-shop.
- The solution includes web crawling feature and NLP engine with entity identification feature to retrieve related parameter information from selected websites. Web crawling feature is able to parse websites elements/data. NLP will identify the relevant entity/terminology with entity training to increase data retrieval accuracy
- It would reduce staffs’ time consumption of repetitive action of searching and comparing E&D appliance. Parameters for E&D appliances can be defined and standardised for selecting and comparing applicable model of appliance.

| Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- We recommend the trail project / Proof-of-Concept (PoC) to start with 2 E&D appliances and 6 selected websites.
- Parameters for E&D appliances can be defined by EMSD based on as-is or to-be user practice.
- Appliances to be searched and websites to be crawled in Cognitive Search portal can be scaled up progressively once the PoC is endorsed.
