Low Power IoT End-Devices for Drainage Application
(REF: S-0255) |
Trial Project |
|
Solution Feature |
- Off-grid (self-powered) water flow measurement LoRa device
- Off-grid (self-powered) water level measurement LoRa device
- Off-grid (self-powered) networked time-lapse low power camera
- Renewable energy harvesting for remote site equipment power supply with health status broadcast using LoRa technology
- Comprehensive health monitoring solution for physical health status of installed LoRa Gateway
|
Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- Based on Singfosolar solar panel to supply power to LoRaWan module from microchip to transfer data from the TI ultra low power MCU to receive sensor data from DT water flow sensor.
- Based on Singfosolar solar panel to supply power to LoRaWan module from microchip to transfer data from the TI ultra low power MCU to receive sensor data from DT water height sensor
- Based on Singfosolar solar panel to supply power to LoRaWan module from microchip to transfer photo from ESP32 camera module and then the server software integrates photos to time-lapse video.
- We currently plan to use solar panel to supply power. If the situation allows, it is possible to apply wind power module. Ultra low power MCU is selected to process the data and communication protocol for the microchip LoRaWan module to transfer data.
- Adopt TCP/IP or Http communication protocol to establish communication between the IoT sensor with ultra low power MCU and CMS web portal in web server for LoRa gateway remote monitoring.
