Solution Feature |
- A custom made ultra low power device, to be fitted to worker safety harness
- To provide real-time location of the worker along the 3 axis X-Y-Z in the construction site.
- To integrate custom sensor parts that detects the connect/disconnect of safety harness from lifeline. The connect/disconnect information is provided as a visual/audio feedback to the worker and monitored in the system.
- It is fixed at various points in site. Operate on ultra-wide band UWB, provide fixed location position information. The real-time location position 3 axis X-Y-Z calculated with reference to the fixed anchors.
- Connect by LoRa & NB-IOT and transfer information to network servers. Provide reports for decision making on the app servers hosted in the cloud.

Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- Requirement understanding : 1) site visits 2) understand worker's usage 3) review available safety harness 4) reporting requirement
- Solution Design: Plan the various scenarios for the use cases. Evaluate design requirement to be incorporated into the safety device. Plan system architecture. Define the information packets to transmitted by the safety device and anchors to the back end system.
- Prototype development : Product design, ID MD ; Electronics design; Tooling. System design - network protocols, database design, app develop Deliverable - Prototype parts and system solution
- Trial 1 - limited trial in lab conditions. Deliverable - Report
