- To design a two-layer DC distribution system with high voltage direct current (HVDC) and low voltage direct current (LVDC).
- The two-layer DC distribution system can include high frequency DC-DC converters that provide regulated DC for home appliances, FCU, LED lamps and PLC system in both HVDC and LVDC distribution.
- The two-layer DC distribution system can be easily connected to renewable energy and different DC energy storage system, improving power conversion efficiency of the system.
- The two-layer DC distribution system can include a data acquisition and monitoring system to capture all necessary data for comparing the performance of both AC and DC distribution systems.
- The two-layer DC distribution system can include soft-switching DC plug and circuit breaker to reduce the pulse impact on the DC system.
