- The system requires to monitor all 20 lift lobbies in EMSD HQs.
- The system requires to feed real-time information to the web-based dashboard.
- Design of the sensor network should be capable of obtaining required data.
- Acquisition of information about the density of waiting people and state of the lift (loading, direction and location).

| Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- Real-time monitoring system requires docking to the elevator system in order to obtained the working parameters.
- Lift lobby density needs to be calculated using vision-based technology. The image can be captured either from external camera or the CCTV inside the HQs.
- A computer is needed to centralized all data while feeding processed data to the web-based dashboard.
- If vision-based solution raise the concern of privacy, the selection of sensor are negotiable.
