Solution Feature |
- Proposes SYSTEM is to monitor real-time the density of people waiting at the LIFT lobbies, within EMSD HQ and provide the real-time and historical information using a web-based dashboard. SYSTEM will also receive live data of lift to be made available from the EMSD LIFT monitoring system
- The SYSTEM consists of the DEVICE, SYSTEM NW Server and SYSTEM APP Server. The DEVICE is to be installed in the EMSD lift lobby. The NW Server and APP server to be hosted in the public cloud service.
- DEVICE installed in lift lobby monitors the density of passengers waiting. Device use radar technology to detect passengers waiting and calculate {passenger density information}. Low power radar operating in the ISM band 60 GHz used. Device is powered by main supply power with battery back-up.
- DEVICE communicates {passenger density information}in PACKET formats to SYSTEM NW server, using LAN/WLAN (or) by LoRa/NBIoT IoT. SYSTEM NW server received PACKET from DEVICE, analyse the PACKET, stores information in NW database. The EMSD LIFT monitoring system send real-time lift information to SYSTEM NW server by local network/Internet
- SYSTEM APP server consumes data stored in NW database, runs analytics to generate realtime reports. USER access the the reports using WEB-APPS / MOBILE-APPS

Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- Custom electronic DEVICE , to monitor real time passenger density. This to be mounted in the 20 LIFT lobby
- SYSTEM NW server and APP server to be hosted in the public cloud
- Web APP with login screen, user right management, floor plans, real time reports, and historical reports
