Development of sensor for preventing persons in custody (PICs) from attempting improper acts in Correctional Institutions

I&T Solution Development of sensor for preventing persons in custody (PICs) from attempting improper acts in Correctional Institutions
(REF : S-0643)
Trial Project
Solution Feature
  • Use strain guage sensor to detect change of weight to prevent people committing self-mutilation
  • Using thermal cameras to sense cell conditions around the clock
  • Deploy IoT network in site to manage the large number of cells at the same time
  • Set up central control system to resoonse the cell situation immediately to duty offices
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • Detecting people through advanced sensor platforms, in case of abnormalities, early intervention in all potential self-mutilation behaviours
  • Centrally monitoring the situation of all cells with CCTV and sensors through the IoT platform
  • Remote control and setup the thermal camera and sensor environment to enhance efficiency in managing different cells
