Summary and Challenges

Conventional light reflective coatings are normally made by electroplating, which is not an environmentally friendly process as it consumes much energy. Also, coatings of this type do not effectively address the issue of glare. We would like to identify or develop environmentally friendly material for optical reflective purposes, which can enhance indoor lighting comfort and improve energy efficiency.
