Summary and Challenges

As maintenance need of equipment is highly dependent on its usage, figuring out its usage pattern helps predict its maintenance need.

We would like to apply big data analytics on the past usage and failure pattern of equipment, and to work out an effective equipment maintenance model utilising artificial intelligence. As such, preventive maintenance can be carried out in future.

Expected Outcome To employ artificial intelligence for medical equipment historical data analysis 1) aiming to forecast spare parts demand; 2) trouble shooting equipment failure and recommend follow-up action with users' description using machine learning; 3) evaluate condition of equipment, hence recommend predictive maintenance schedule.
