| Project Summary and Challenges | To increase the sensitivity of the Rodent Infestation Rate (RIR)* surveys, FEHD would like to develop or adopt new rodent bait products that are more effective in luring rodents, non-poisonous and suitable for use in Hong Kong. *The Rodent Infestation Rate at a particular locality at the time of survey could be calculated as follows: Rodent Infestation Rate = Number of bait consumed by rodent / Total number of bait retrieve x 100% |
