Summary and Challenges The purpose of this project is to leverage IoT technologies to automatically synchronize the time of the display panels installed at different locations of the sites, display dynamic information relating to the venues based on different conditions and schedules, show the ferry related information instantly once updated by the ferry operators and collect operational data of different E&M systems for remote monitoring. The developed system shall be designed to withstand heavy rain, strong wind, sea water corrosion and be able to work in harsh outdoor environment nearby seaside.
Expected Outcome Develop an IoT-based system to show exact time to the passengers, display dynamic and venue specific information, update ferry related information and facilitate remote monitoring of E&M equipment
