Summary and Challenges
Adoption of the direct current IoT based Smart lighting control system with a view to saving energy and reducing operating and maintenance costs.
The new control system would allow separated control of the various lighting units. With the help of IoT sensors, each lighting unit would be able to adjust to attain optimal efficiency, better comfort and greater energy saving.
The IoT based Smart lighting control system will be evaluated in the trial at EMSD Headquarters and further determine whether the technology is applicable in Hong Kong.
